Club History
The formation of the Rosanna Photographic Club.
Discussions on the formation of a camera club in Rosanna commenced in 1958 when four close friends, all of whom shared an interest in photography, got together.
The first meeting was held in September 1959 at the home of Cliff Lewis, the club's foundation President.
The Foundation Executives:

Ready to sharpen your skills? Our field photography tours are designed to get you out behind the lens in exciting locations. These hands-on outings are all about community and growth. They enable our members to practice their skills in real-world settings while creating a space to learn from each other. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, you will find inspiration and support in every frame.
The fun doesn't stop when the cameras turn off. Here are a few snapshots of our members catching up, sharing stories, and relaxing together after our field practical sessions.
Founded in 1959, our club has been a vibrant hub for passionate photographers for over six decades. Our journey is filled with memorable milestones, reflecting the growth and dedication of our creative community.
A proud highlight of our history includes celebrating our 60th anniversary, which honoured generations of photographic talent. Building on that rich legacy, we recently reached our 65th anniversary, marking more than half a century of capturing beautiful moments and fostering local artists. From community exhibitions to historic milestones, our club continues to develop a legacy of excellence that began over 60 years ago.
